Terms and Conditions

Draft -- review with a UK e-commerce solicitor before launch.

These terms govern your purchase of goods from myCollectors (the trading name of the business identified in the site footer). By placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About us

The business identity, registered address, VAT number, and contact details are shown in the website footer. We are registered for VAT in the United Kingdom.

2. Ordering and acceptance

Placing an order via this website constitutes an offer to buy. We will confirm receipt of your order by email. A contract is formed when we accept your order (typically when we dispatch the goods).

3. Prices and VAT

All displayed prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%) for orders shipped to UK addresses. Orders shipped outside the UK VAT area (Channel Islands, EU, rest of world) are sold ex-VAT as exports; the customer is responsible for any import duties or taxes at the destination.

4. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. We aim to dispatch within two working days. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 require delivery within 30 days of the contract unless otherwise agreed.

5. Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, for any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. See our Cancellation page for the form and full details.

Bespoke or personalised items are exempt from this right.

6. Faulty goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have a 30-day short-term right to reject goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Contact us by phone or email; we will arrange return and a full refund.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the goods. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Notice.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10. Contact

Contact details are in the site footer or on the Contact page.
